An exciting new project for an entrepreneurial new start-up business, Gwella (meaning 'cure' or 'make better' in Welsh, the perfect name!). Their unique idea is a cooked and cured sliced meat, using the lamb and beef from the family farm near Aberystwyth. To help launch their tasty product into the wider and competitive retail and deli markets, the team need new packaging - which is where I come in.
The family live and work in an amazing location in the hills overlooking Aberystwyth, with views of the whole of Cardigan Bay. So, a half day photography shoot at the farm was proposed to capture the beautiful location, fresh coastal air and rolling green fields of Mid Wales that the animals enjoy. After a 4x4 trip over the fields and a lot of running after the flock, we've got some great images to give a flavour of where the flavour comes from.
Keep an eye out as the packaging progresses and this tasty new product hits the shelves.
