Local honey aficionados, Wainwright's Bee Farm, has just undergone a new rebranding programme with new honey jar labels to be rolled out over the coming months – in prestigious retailers, such as Fortnum & Mason, Waitrose, and many independent foodie specialists.
To freshen up their otherwise aloof fleet of seven utility bee-keeping vehicles, I was asked to create a simple brand application to them. The new labels feature a distinctive 'W' logotype as part of the design, which has been used as the core of the new Wainwright's Bee Farm application. The team favoured a vintage simplicity and style, so a tasteful single colour off-white vinyl was selected to complement the deep forest greens of the various vehicles.
The treatment really helps to unify the fleet, and increase awareness of the new brand out on the road and into the wilds, when collecting the precious honey varieties – with bold application to the main doors, and large tarps of the bigger vehicles.
